Global staffing, built around people who can do the work.
Baaraku is a global staffing company that helps businesses find, assess and hire capable professionals, with a particular focus on talent sourced from Africa.
Baaraku serves businesses by helping them access people with the skills, experience and working style their roles require.
Baaraku connects businesses with professionals who can work as part of their team.
We help turn a hiring need into a person who can own the work.
Some clients arrive with a polished job description. Others arrive with a problem: too much recurring work, an overloaded support queue, a missing technical skill, or a team that needs more capacity. Baaraku helps define the requirement, search for relevant talent, assess fit, present a shortlist and support the path to hiring.
Clarify the role, outcomes, tools, schedule, seniority and operating context.
Source candidates against the actual brief rather than sending an undifferentiated talent pool.
Review experience, communication and role-specific capability using the level of assessment the work requires.
Shortlist, interview, select, onboard and scale when more capacity is needed.
For companies that need capability, not simply more résumés.
Baaraku works with businesses that want reliable remote talent, whether they are hiring one person, adding specialist capacity or building a larger distributed team.
Business owners & small teams
Companies delegating recurring administrative, customer, sales or operational work for the first time.
Growing functions
Teams adding capacity in support, operations, finance, sales, marketing or specialist roles.
Technical organizations
Companies hiring developers, cloud, DevOps, AI and other technical professionals or dedicated engineering capacity.
Different roles. One standard: evidence of fit.
Baaraku can support hiring across business support, customer operations, sales, finance and operations, specialist work, software development and technical functions. The exact assessment changes because the evidence needed for an executive assistant is not the same evidence needed for a software engineer.
How we vet talent ↗Africa is a talent market—not a shortcut around hiring standards.
Baaraku has a particular focus on sourcing professionals from Africa, including Nigeria. Geography helps define where we search; it does not determine whether a person is qualified. Each candidate still has to be evaluated against the work, communication requirements, experience, schedule and role-specific expectations.
Talent is widely distributed. Opportunity and access are not.
Baaraku exists to make cross-border hiring more practical: help companies access capable professionals beyond their immediate geography, and help talented people reach a wider set of employers and career opportunities.
That is still a commercial relationship. Companies should hire because the person can create value. Professionals should be treated as contributors to the business, not as a charitable project.

Assess the person against the role—not against a generic test.
Every role does not need the same process. Baaraku can use application screening, experience review, communication assessment and interviews as core signals, then add practical assignments, work samples, technical assessment, references or background checks where they are relevant and actually part of the engagement.
Experience + communication
Does the person understand the work, communicate appropriately and have relevant evidence from previous responsibilities?
Practical capability
Can the candidate demonstrate the kind of judgment, execution or technical reasoning the role actually needs?
Additional verification
References, background checks and other verification are used only where appropriate, available and part of the agreed hiring process.
A résumé is evidence. It is not the whole person.
People do their best work when the role is clear, expectations are fair, communication works and they have room to exercise judgment. Baaraku’s human-first philosophy means treating candidates as professionals rather than inventory and helping clients evaluate the qualities that matter in the actual working relationship.
That also means avoiding assumptions based on nationality, geography or job title. We want the hiring decision to be grounded in capability, context and fit.
